By creating an account and using Chalk ("the service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
Chalk is a private, invite-only against-the-spread (ATS) pick'em league platform for a defined group of members. It is not open to the public — you can only join a league if someone invites you with a league-specific invite link. The service lets members make weekly picks, view lock times and results, and see league standings.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. At sign-up you'll confirm your age and the state you're in. You're responsible for making sure your participation complies with any laws that apply to you where you live.
Creating an account requires verifying your phone number (or, as a fallback, your email) with a one-time passcode sent by Chalk by PhaseZero Labs. You're responsible for keeping access to your phone number/email and for all activity under your account. Sign-in code texts are transactional — sent only when you request one, not toggleable, and required to use Chalk. Separately, at sign-up you can optionally opt in to league update texts (such as pick deadline reminders); those are off by default, only sent if you check that box, and can be turned off anytime in your notification settings or by replying STOP. By using Chalk, you agree not to:
Picks lock at the time shown for each game; picks cannot be changed after lock. League standings and results are computed by the service based on submitted picks and official game outcomes. We aim for these computations to be accurate, but errors are possible — see the disclaimer below.
Chalk is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chalk and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including any dispute over pick results or standings.
We may update these terms or the service from time to time. We'll make a reasonable effort to notify active members of material changes. Continued use of Chalk after a change means you accept the updated terms.
We may suspend or remove access to the service for any account that violates these terms or a league's rules.
